Our story begins as three fishing fanatics organising our own trips around Argentina, driven by our passion for travel and the sport. What starts as a simple page to share our adventures has now grown into a community of over 180K followers, who join us in exploring and experiencing the beauty of Argentina.
From those early days of fly-fishing for fun, our passion has evolved into a lifestyle. We expanded our adventures to include horseback riding in Patagonia, hunting in the Argentine savanna, and cultural experiences in remote corners of our country.
Our dedication to creating extraordinary adventures lead us to establish relationships with unique lodges that cater to fly-fishing, riding, and photography enthusiasts, now open to the public.
With a collective experience of fishing, photo-hunting, horseback riding, cooking, photography and videography, we are committed to providing unforgettable experiences that blend the thrill of the outdoors with the rich traditions of Argentina.

Justo is the soul of our team. His passion and spirit are the driving forces behind our journey. Although we lost him along the way, his legacy continues to inspire us. We are committed to carrying on what he loved doing, ensuring that everyone experiences Argentina with the same wonder and joy that he did. His memory lives on in every adventure we share.

Disconnect to connect
Catch and release was born with the purpose of getting back to basics. In a world filled with distractions, unhealthy habits, time-consuming jobs, and doom-scrolling, we realised just how much our clients could benefit from disconnecting from the hussle and bussle by booking a trip with us.
Horse-riding in the mountains, fly fishing, no phone connection, rustic cooking, sleeping under a starry sky, or simply drinking fresh water from a river, are everyday experiences for us, yet it has become clear that that is not the norma!
That's why we decided to open our experiences to the public, so that they re-connect with themselves through their engagement with what we consider most magical and important- raw nature. Disconnect to re-connect.
